Roll up your sleeves, and let's mix some soil!  During this hands on class you'll learn how soil amendments like bark, coco coir, worm castings, and perlite can improve your plant's drainage and air flow, and then make your own batches of potting soil to take home. 

During this 60 min class, we'll discuss:

-Soil amendments and what they do.  

-The importance of drainage, ph, and airflow, and why different plants like different types of soil recipes. 

-A basic potting mix recipe, and how to customize if for the particular needs of your plant.

-Attendees will use the materials in their class kits to make two 1 quart bags of their own custom potting mixes to take home. This is a great group project, so bring a friend! 

This is a very interactive class, so bring all your potting soil concerns or questions to share!
