Syngonium Lance Leaf
Most varieties of Syngonium, or "Arrowhead plants," prefer bright, but filtered light, as direct sun may scorch their leaves. Allow these indoor plants to dry out lightly between watering. If left dry for too long the lower leaves will dry up and turn brown. If this happens, try sitting the pot in a deep tray and water thoroughly so that water drains out of the bottom of the pot and fills the tray a bit. Then let the plant sit in that tray of water for at least 10 min so that the rootball rehydrates thoroughly.
Average household humidity 40-50% is adequate for these indoor plants, but most houseplants benefit from humidity over 60% if you can provide it. If the plant is only producing smaller leaves, we find the leaves mature best when:- given consistent bright, indirect light- the soil is kept slightly moist, and doesn't dry out completely between watering- given a trellis or support to climb
