The Scindapsus Trebuii Dark Form requires care similar to the very common Epipremnum Pothos houseplant.  Both are part of the Aroid family tree, and they both prefer medium to bright indirect light. 

It's our opinion that it's best for scindapsus plants to void direct sunlight to avoid burning the leaves. You may find success with direct sunlight by slowly acclimating your plant over time. 

Scindapsus is a large genus, so there is a lot of variety in these vining plants.  The Scindapsus Trebuii Dark Form leaves vary from a very deep green to a rich, almost black color, and can have a slight sheen. 
 
Like most pothos variety plants, the scindapsus variety plant also prefers for its soil to be on the dry side. Water only when the top several inches of soil has dried out.  Leaf curling is a sign of a thirsty plant. 

The an easy growing medium for these plants is a blend of equal parts of houseplant soil and perlite to help increase drainage.
