Rhapis Excelsa is a hardy palm tree with short stalks and wide leaves.  Rhapis Excelsa will grow in bright medium filtered light and prefer to stay lightly moist during the warmer months. This plant can tolerate lower light situations, but may not grow as quickly. These slow growing palms will produce multiple short stalks topping out around 5' feet tall.
